This month for the Gabby Mom's review, we were given the opportunity to review Helping Hands at Home by Lorrie Flem In this e-book, Lorrie teaches us busy moms how to teach our children how to help cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom. She takes each room and breaks it down in to small steps, then shows Mom how to teach her children, to do the job. From cleaning from the top down, to handy little tips for Mom.
Children as young as 5 can learn these techniques, and while it may not happen overnight, with time and work, you can teach your children how to clean the two messiest rooms in the house.
I've been working with my children on helping in the kitchen, and this book has helped get us started on cleaning the bathroom. It takes time and patience, and you'll need to work with them a bit before they finally get the hang of it and are able to do it the way you've always done it.
If you'd like to try this little book out on your own, it's very affordable at 99 cents on Amazon. You can also check out Lorrie's other items at her website, Eternal Encouragement.
*Disclosure - I was provided with a free copy of this product in exchange for my review through the Gabby Moms Program.

You are so right that it takes time...but once we put the time in we save time later. Plus it's part of child training :)
